Police Report: Damn this is a shame… this kid is probably going to get kicked off the team for simply taking a piss in public. A police officer spotted Kerns in an alley early Saturday taking a leak and when the officer approached Kerns did not produce any identification when asked… and then as the officer was trying to cuff him Kerns struck the officer in the face and ran away only to be caught a short time later.

I’ve never heard of Hillbilly Handfinshin’, but apparently it’s a new redneck show that comes on the Animal Planet. And we’re telling you about it because on a recent episode North Dakota’s basketball player Mike Mathison appeared on it and was able to bare hand a 40-pounder in the swaps.

The NBA Draft is my favorite of all the sports… it’s just long enough were you can watch the whole thing and know all the players drafted. But still there are rumors that this lockout could end up changing it, in an effort to make the league more competitive… a change that might make college’s best players thing twice about jumping to the NBA in the future.

We’re going to go Oprah on you real quick and give you the heart warming story of a pair of Missouri Western State football players, Jack Long and Shane Simpson, who saved a 17 month old boys life by rescuing him from a car after the boys grandmother got locked out on a 90 plus degree day. Finally! After weeks of speculation, today the SEC unanimously decided to invite Texas A&M to join their league…but what should have been a day of celebration for both the Aggies and SEC has been ruined by the Baylor Bears, who are considering legal action against the SEC to keep A&M in the Big 12.
But why? On September 2nd the SEC received a unanimous written assurance from the Big 12 that the SEC was free to accept Texas A&M to join as a new member, but then yesterday Baylor and Baylor alone reversed their field. So why? Well that’s the question we’re here to answer.
