The bros over at at CampusSplash did some number crunching taking into account everything from number of sports, to number of titles, program revenue and somehow figured out the 25 most athletic colleges in the nation… so for all their hard work, we’re going to post their findings. And I don’t know how reliable the findings are seeing that they gave Stanford University the number one spot, but whatever.

Rivals.com was kind enough to put together the top ten college football bust of the past ten years for us so we didn’t have to… and coming in at number one they’ve got Melvin Alaeze, who the fourth ranked recruit in the class of 2005… but before he could really make an impact at Maryland he was sentenced to eight years in prison after pleading guilty to first-degree assault in 2007. Bust!

Every year around tournament time everyone seems to catch bracket madness and starts doing brackets for things that have no business having a bracket. Hulu Best in Show: What is the best show on TV today? Well this bracket answers that, sort of (the pool of shows is made up of those that appear on Hulu)

March Madness OG Air Jordan Tournament: This bracket made by the site Sneaker News is for all the sneaker heads out there, it lets you pick the best Jordan of all-time.

Tom Selleck: Whether you know him as Thomas Magnum or Dr. Richard Burke, but before that ‘stache made him so famous he was juggled modeling and going to school at USC, where he went on a basketball scholarship in the 1960s.

Matthew Fox: From Party of Five to Lost, Matthew Fox has also had a long-lasting career in cult TV shows. Fox…who grew up in Wyoming…went on to Columbia. He played football for the prestigious school, going 0-30 for a combined three seasons.

Forest Whitaker: Whitaker was a music major in college at USC, but he first got into college on a football scholarship. When he transferred to USC, he won two music scholarships, and ultimately left for Berkeley to pursue acting, on another scholarship.

I know a bunch of people out there are wondering what we were doing on our little “break” that we took from updating the site. Well while you were sitting there trying to forget we existed, we were busy building the Holy Grail of hot college athlete photo galleries.

We’ve got somewhere around 2000 photos of over 100 athletes, I think it’s safe to say we have the largest collection on the net. And we’re not even close to being done, we’re planning on adding another 200 athletes to the gallery this year. So bookmark the page (the link to our photo galleries is on the right) because we’ll be updating it as often as we can.
