Elite8: The Worst College Sports

There are a bunch of college sports out there that no ones pays attention to. They don’t come on TV, none of the sportswriters cover them, all because they suck and really don’t have any business being a sport. So what is the Elite 8 of worst college sports out there:
# 8 Cheerleading: We’re not even sure if cheerleading is a real sport, but they do have a national championship every year. What exactly the goal of the competitions are who knows..the only thing keeping them from #1 is their good looks.
#7 Fencing: I love fencing. I mean who didn’t want to be a pirate and sword fight when they were younger. But, all the padding and toothpick sized swords makes this a pussy sport. It might rise to one of the more popular sports once someone invents lightsabers.
#6 Cross-Country: Have you ever been to a cross-country meet. I haven’t, but how do you even watch the race if the runners are running miles away? All you see is the first couple seconds and last couple seconds and the races are rarely close. It’s pointless to go watch…I’d be like going to see a marathon live.
# 5 Rifle: Watching people shoot targets is boring. It’s just practice for real shooting, that’s why they call it “target practice”. If they don’t want to fall off the list of NCAA Sports they need to start shooting small living things like roaches…now there’s a competition.
