Caught On Tape: Florida Basketball Arrest
On Sunday two Florida basketball players (Erik Murphy and Cody Larson) and one team manager (Joshua Adel) got arrested for breaking into a car outside a bar in St. Augustine. And here goes part two of a 34 minute secret police recording taken while Adel and Larson were in the back of the police car on their cell phones trying to convince Murphy to turn himself in to police…and guess what, someone is crying! I’m sorry but this is too hilarious.
Adel to Murphy: Bro, do you know how fcked I am because of y’all dumb mother fckers! I’m fired. Like, you’ll have another shot. I’m done. I have no second shot, bro.
Murphy: I don’t have a second shot either.
Adel: And I told y’all to stop doing that. You did that.
Murphy: I’m getting you out of it.
Adel: Fck that man. It doesn’t matter. My job was supposed to, I’m supposed to be looking after y’all. And y’all are fcking going into fcking cars that I said not to.
Murphy: They don’t have anything on us. We’re gonna get off.
Adel: We’re not getting off.
Murphy: You know what we could say. Listen, listen, listen. When we went back in, the dude was being a d!ck to us and was like, ‘You gotta leave.’ I was looking for my wallet.
Adel: Dude, come on man. … That is a dumb G** d*** idea.
Murphy: We can get them in trouble too for letting us in when we weren’t 21.
Adel: Dude, don’t even say that shyt.
Murphy: No, fck that. I’m pulling everything out.
Adel: No you’re not because that makes us look like assholes. That we’re, that you two are wasted and fcking breaking in cars. That looks fcking dumb.
Murphy: Whatever bro. I’m doing it.
Murphy: Have you ever gotten arrested before?
Adel: No.
Murphy: Then we could get off.
Adel: There’s no getting off. We’re not in fcking Gainesville. They [St. Augustine police] don’t give a fck! Do you understand I’ll be fired and I have no chance of ever pursuing any type of career in basketball.”

I know Erik, he is the one in the back of the cop car with Adel. You worded it wrong above.
