HBO To Expose Auburn Recruiting Violations

The worst has yet to come for the Auburn. The NCAA has been busy trying to dig up dirt on Cam Newton and interviewing a number of other recruits from the Tigers 2010 and 2011 classes about possible violations. And now word is HBO is hopping in on the witch hunt with a Real Sports episode on the “State of College Sports in America” to air March 30.

The episode will reportedly feature two interviews. One with Miss State booster Kenny Rogers, who was the one that fingered Cecil Newton in the pay for play scheme…and another with with former Auburn football player Stanley McClover who will claim during the interview that an Auburn assistant coach provided him extra benefits that would be considered a violation of NCAA rules. Sounds like must see TV to me.
