LSU Forced To Suspend Two After Arrest

The LSU vs Oregon is becoming less and less exciting by the day. Oregon’s star CB Cliff Harris is suspended for the game for all those speeding tickets, yesterday it was announced that LSU WR Russel Shepard was suspended for violating an NCAA rule by talking to one his teammates about an ongoing investigation.
And now today LSU has suspended starting quarterback Jordan Jefferson and linebacker Josh Johns after they were arrested and charged today with second degree battery for last weeks bar brawl. Sheesh!
Head Coach Les Miles statement:
“We will continue to cooperate with the authorities in an effort to find out exactly what took place during the incident. As sad as this incident is, it’s important that we learn from this and that we take away a valuable lesson. This has weighed on all of us. It’s time for us to come together as a team and focus on what we are here to do.”
