Oregon’s Lache Seastrunk Transfers To Baylor Because God
This couldn’t be good news for Oregon… running back Lache Seastrunk (who is at the center of the investigation for it was for him that Oregon allegdly paid Willie Lyles $25000 to land) who has transferred from the Ducks to Baylor and the reason, God told him to. Say what now!?
Seatrunk says: “When I first went there [Oregon], I felt like God wanted me to be there… but God also pulls you out of the storm before it happens. So I felt like something was about to go down and God wanted me to get out of there.”
So whys this bad news for the Ducks?
Because Lache is going to want to play right away and not sit out the mandatory year because to the transfer rule due to the transfer rule and the only way to do that is if petitions the NCAA to do so. And in order to do this he just might be willing to talk to the NCAA about Will Lyles and detail what Oregon’s coaching staff knew about the payment.
Yup I’m talking about that damn “limited immunity” rule that the NCAA can use during some investigations that lets athletes receive no punishment for past violations for spilling their guts.
