The Stuff Legends Are Made Of

This pregame speech by Miami (Ohio) interim head coach Lance Guidry before the Godaddy.com Bowl last night ranks up there with some of the greatest pregame speeches of all-time…maybe even better than the pregame speeches made by Al Pacino in Any Given Sunday and Kurt Russell in Miracle (clips imbedded below).

Whether or Guidry’s speech is better is debatable, but one thing is certain his players responded to his words beating Middle Tennessee 35-21…too bad Guidry who was the DB’s coach probably won’t be retained by the RedHawks, even though he should.
