NCAA Cracking Down On Dumbass Athletes

Athletes are such dumbasses. They all get tutors that basically give them the answers to the test and yet they still fail classes. There’s no such thing as a student-athlete…only athlete pretending to be students and regular ol’ students. Well now the NCAA is going to make it tougher for the really stupid one’s (e.g. Derrick Rose) to even get into school.

Yesterday the NCAA proposed to have “incoming freshmen have their academic records by the university and those in need of additional classwork would have to take at least six credit hours and earn at least three credits during summer school to be eligible in the fall”.

The trade off for tougher academic standards: coaches would be able to practice with players for eight hours a week over during an eight week period in summer. So the reward for being dumb is more class and more practice time…sounds like punishment to me.
