Nevada Football Player Fight Cover-Up

Football players get into fights all the time. Sometimes it gets reported, other times it is just swept under the rug. But rarely do you hear about football players on the same team getting into a fight with each other twice, in the same day!

But that’s exactly what happened at Nevada when one fight between Wolfpack safety’s Duke Williams and Marlon Johnson led to a second fight later that day that ended with Johnson in the emergency room after being hit in the head with a rock.

Round 1 started after Williams punched or kicked Johnson’s car after he was nice enough to give him a ride home from a party. Word is Johnson won that round.

Round 2 was then later on that day and it wasn’t a fair fight. There is two conflicting stories of what happened, but what we do know is that Williams went over to Johnson house with one or more dudes to confronted him and that’s when someone hit Johnson in the head with a rock knocking out him and one of his teeth.

Now this allegdely all happened on either April 16 or 17. And the reason why we don’t have that much information on it is because no police report was filed and the coaching staff is keeping it hush hush. Johnson’s HS coach has even went as far as to accuse the staff of trying to cover up the incident.

Now 2 weeks later Keith Hackett the associate athletic director is just now starting an investigation into the incident.
