Oregon Responds To The Lyles Allegations

Will Lyles fired his shots at Oregon in an interview with YahooSports on Thursday in which he basically stated that Oregon paid him $25,000 for steering players their… and now it’s Oregon’s turn to respond. But rather than a flat out denial, they instead issued this statement:
“The University of Oregon athletic department has and will continue to fully cooperate with the NCAA inquiry. Our department is committed to helping the NCAA in any way possible and until their work is complete, we are unable to comment further. Oregon athletics remains committed to operating a program of integrity.”
Yeah that’s sounding like their guilty to me.
They’re pleading the fifth… neither confirming or denying the allegations so they don’t sound like an ass like Ohio State did at the start of their investigation. But it’s pretty clear from what Lyles has already told YahooSports and what he will eventually be telling the NCAA that Oregon is going down.
Their will be sanctions because of it, but the big question is whether Chip Kelly… one of the best college coaches in the game today will be forced to resign.
