This could make for a very interesting story come next season. Lauren Luttrell a freshman at Virginia Tech tried out for the football team the other day as a kicker and word is head coach Frank Beamer liked what he saw… so much so that he invited her to next years spring practice.

And this chick is no slouch either… as a senior in high school last year, she kicked 10 extra points and a 31-yard field goal for Spotsylvania. Not bad and I’m talking about her look.

Police Report

The arrest this month keep on piling up. We’ve had so many that we’ve lost track… we’re somewhere in mid-twenties. We’ll do a better job at keeping the count up to date next month. But anyways below we’ve got the stories of two more football players from Wyoming and Florida who were arrested on DUI and careless driving charges respectively.

Somehow our bros over at BustedCoverage got their hands on the pants that Cam Newton wore in the BCS National Championship game… and them being the awesome brahs that they are put them on hot ass Playboy Playmate Jaime Edmondson and took a bunch of pictures of her for all of us to oogle at.

Here goes the first real video from LSU Foot-Bar-Brawl, which was dug up by Fox 8 and apparently proves that LSU QB Jordan Jefferson didn’t kick anyone. And if you need more evidence about Jefferson’s innocence, Tigerdroppings.com has all the proof you need here.

It’s over. With one email today Texas A&M president R. Bowen Loftin told the Big 12 to kiss his ass… they’re leaving to join another conference on June 30, 2012. It’s about damn time (we’ve got that letter along with a statement from Big 12 commish Dan Beebe about A&M departure below that you can read).

So now what? Texas A&M must agree on the terms of the settlement. The SEC and the Big 12 will quitely hunt for additional members… and we’ll be sure to bring you all the rumors as they’re whispered. But as of now word is the Big 12 is looking hard at Notre Dame and Arkansas… while also considering BYU, SMU, Houston, Pittsburgh, West Virginia and Louisville. The SEC meanwhile will probably play with 13 next season, but expect them to stay at that number for long. In other words this story is just getting started.

By now you had to have heard that the NCAA has suspended eight players for varying amounts of games depending on what they were to have accepted from booster Ned Shapario (QB Jacory Harris, WR Travis Benjamin, DT Marcus Forston, DE Adewale Ojomo, and LB Sean Spence must all serve a one game suspension and repay their benefits… while TE Dyron Dye and S Ray-Ray Armstrong must serve a four game suspension… and lastly DE Olivier Vernon must miss six games of competition).

But wait there’s more…. two more players (Brandon McGee and Micanor Regis) who wren’t even mentioned in the Yahoo!Sports report will be required to make up “minor benefits” they received from Shapiro, but won’t be suspended. Damn!
