Reggie Bush Wants To Give Back Heisman

Finally after years of being investigated by the NCAA for years and spending millions dollars (mostly paid out as hush money)…Reggie Bush has admitted that he’s guilty. The USA Today is reporting that in a 15 minute phone conversation with new USC Athletic Director Pat Haden, Bush expressed some regret for what happened.

“He’s really contrite. He knows he made a series of mistakes. It wasn’t just one mistake. It was a series of mistakes. He told me, ‘If I could turn the clock back, I would. If I could give the Heisman Trophy back, I would.’ “

Sheesh! Now was that seriously that hard to do…tell the truth? He could have saved everyone a whole lot of time and anguish had he just done it from the start. He had nothing to lose then and he has nothing to lose now by admitting that he accepted money while at ‘SC…but all that could change in the near future, thanks to Nick Saban.
