Another Auburn NCAA Investigation

There are so many NCAA investigations going on at Auburn that I’m starting to lose track. They’ve got the ongoing probe into the Cam Newton thing. An ongoing investigation into their recruitment of several of the 2011 commits. An ongoing investigation into allegations made by four former players on an HBO show (one of them has recently said he is now willing to talk to investigators).

And now the Birmingham News is reporting their is a fourth NCAA investigation involving the Auburn football program going on centering around it’s now defunct “Tiger Prowl”.

Details on the new investigation below…

SEC Football Statue Wars

I don’t I feel like this should be a show on TLC or something because it seems like when it comes to statue building in the SEC the motto is, “anything you can I’m going to bigger and better”. Last week Florida kicked things off with the unveiling of their trio of statues of their Heisman winners (Steve Spurrier, Danny Wuerffel, and Tim Tebow). Alabama is set to debut their scary ass Nick Saban statue before their Spring Game on Saturday.

And now not to be out done Auburn has annoucned they’re creating their own trio of statues honoring their three Heisman Trophy winners…Pat Sullivan (1971), Bo Jackson (1985), Cam Newton (2010)…and they’re going to be bigger than both UF’s and ‘Bama’s, with each being 1½ the size of each former players and weighing 1,900 pounds a piece.

The Alabama Recruiting Scandal

These SEC football message boarder’s man…they’re crazy. A pro Auburn sports blogger goes on the radio and claims an Alabama supporter paid for 2011 recruit Brent Calloway to sign with the Tide and all hell breaks loose. At the center of everything is this guy by the name of Darren Woodruff, who is a wealthy businessman/Alabama supporter who befriended Calloway when he was a freshman in high school.

What we know is that Woodruff took Calloway to Florida the weekend before he flipped his commitment from Auburn to Alabama. But what isn’t known is if and/or how much money Woodruff’s given the Calloway’s over the past four years and if he’s considered an “Alabama booster”…and that is what fans on both sides are warring about right now.

The evidence below…

Alabama Booster Paid Cash For Recruit

Only in the SEC! Today Jeffrey Lee of AuburnSports.com went on a Mobile radio station and aired out all of Alabama’s dirty laundry…accusing a booster of buying 5-star recruit Brent Calloway. Amoung the allegations made was that the booster: made cash payments to his dad, paid the family’s mortgage, bought him a car, and promised of $1,200 a month.

Now take the rumor for what it’s worth because it is coming from an Auburn writer and it’s about a recruit that flip-flopped his commitment from Auburn to Alabama…but if true WOW! They didn’t even buy players that much stuff on Blue Chips.

A complete list of the allegations below…

2011 Gymnastics All-Hot Team: Auburn

Auburn didn’t make the National Championships, but they have a couple girls on their team that can be First Team All-Hot, but only only one of them is a senior so we’ll start with her…bros meet Lauren, five foot nothing flexible as fck smokeshow.

Why You Should Watch HBO Tonight

Tonight’s is the night! At 10:00 pm HBO will air it’s must talked about special on athletes getting paid under the table to play college sports. And at the center of it all is four former Auburn players…Stanley McClover, Troy Reddick, Raven Gray and Chaz Ramsey…who will all claim they were given thousands upon thousands of dollars by Auburn boosters and even coaches while in high school and during college.

McClover alone says he was given $1000 per sack, money to buy a ’73 Impala, hundred dollar handshakes, and a bag full of money that was so big it almost made him pass out…but that’s nowhere nearly as good as what Ohio State did for McClover on his visit.

The transcript from the interviews below…
