RUMOR #4: To show you haw ridiculous this whole this is getting…the Twitter rumor that said Cam will be suspended by the NCAA today is false, he will be starting versus UGA this Saturday. And it was all started by some asshole who misquoted an ESPN radio host.

You’ve got people from Florida leaking stuff about his academic transcripts (proof UF leaked it here). Alumni from Mississippi State claiming he wanted them to pay him. I mean Cam has more rumors swirling around him than Demi Lovato right now, who apparently is a coke whore now. And now comes ESPN and their sources to pile on more bullshit.

Apparently Joe Schad has found two people who “recruit” for Mississippi State to go on the record and say they both separately heard Cam Newton and his dad admit to the pay for play scheme. And I don’t know who else recruits for colleges other than assistant coaches and boosters so take your pick of where Schad heard the juicy rumor from below.

UPDATE: TMZ is reporting that the FBI wants to talk to John Bond…hopefully they expose him and his three sources

Bottom line the story isn’t true. Kenny Rogers new asked this John Bond dude for $180,000 in exchange for Cam Newton to go to Mississippi State. Instead Rogers heard from a guy, who heard from another guy, who heard a guy say that he heard Rogers was trying to get a payment for Newton from Mississippi State and other schools….take a second to read that again because I know it’s confusing.

So basically this whole “story” is based on Bond (a Mississippi State booster) hearing a fourth hand rumor that was being spread around by his old ass Mississippi State alumni buddies and ex-players, who all have to be pissed that Cam chose Auburn over Mississippi State. If that’s not bullshit, then what do you call that?!

Well Meyer didn’t waste anytime shooting down that rumor. When asked if he was behind this latest Cam Newton smear campaign about the cheating at Florida, Urban had this to say:

“Our entire focus right now is on preparing for our biggest game of the year against South Carolina. For anyone to think that I or anyone on our staff may have leaked information about private student records to the media doesn’t know us very well. It’s a ridiculous claim and simply not true.”

As you may or may not know the Florida’s season basically comes down to this next game versus South Carolina. If they beat USC they win the SEC East title and move onto the conference title game where they’ll most likely face Auburn, lose and well they suck. Still I don’t believe him, either him or someone on his staff leaked Cam’s academic records. And while Urban denied Auburn’s AD had some harsh words for whoever is talking all this shit about Cam.

LOL! What are the odds that Meyer leaked this little tidbit to the press too, just like he did the payment rumor? Thayer Evans, the same guy that wrote the “Don’t vote Newton for Heisman” piece for FoxSports.com last Friday, broke this one….claiming that Cam Newton was caught not once, but twice for cheating while at Florida and was facing a possible expulsion from school for it right before he transferred to Blinn College.

Now this is where the story gets funny. The first time Cam got caught he cheating he straight up put his name on another students paper. Then when the teacher called him out on it and gave him a chance to redo the paper he used one that he got (bought) off the internet. LOL! Rookie. $10 a page is all a good paper will cost you here.

A little over a month ago Cedrick McAfee of Memphis gave a verbal commitment to play basketball at Auburn. And now a month later, during the same week that the Cam Newton story broke, comes word that McAfee’s high school coach Jermaine Johnson was asking for $25,000 from schools for his commitment.

But that’s not even the worst, McAfee’s AAU basketball coach William Rhodes also claims, Johnson (head coach at Melrose High in Memphis) films himself having sex with high school girls in the schools lockerroom.

Damn I used to ass dude, but now it’s official he’s an asshole. Apparently there was a three-way phone conversation between Meyer, Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen and former Bulldog quarterback John Bond (who was the one that reported that someone was trying collect six figures for Cam Newton’s services) not to long ago. And in that conversation Bond is quoted as saying that he and Mullen agreed that the Newton matter was closed after submitting all of their documentation to SEC Headquarters.

But not Meyer, probably pissed that Cam didn’t stay at UF, he disagreed and told the two that he thought it needed to be reported to The New York Times and he was going to make the call. It was only after this that Bond went to ESPN and was even quoted as saying, ”(Meyer) is behind the whole thing“.  Now that’s bitchassness at it’s bitchest.

Say it ain’t so! ESPN is reporting tonight that a man claiming to represent Cam Newton called some dude named John Bond, who used to be Mississippi State’s quarterback back in the 80′s, last summer demanding six figures in exchange for Cam to go there. And the guy that demanded the money was none other than Kenny Rogers, one of Bonds former teammates who played at Mississippi State from 1982-85.

Bond said that Rogers told him other schools had already offered $200k, but since Newton really liked Mississippi State and had a relationship with head coach Dan Mullen dating to when both were at Florida, Mississippi State could get him for $180k.

Sounds fishy to me. But Cam’s dad Cecil has admitted talking to Rogers about Cam going to Mississippi State and likewise the NCAA is investigating the allegations. The NCAA has already interviewed Bond in September and gotten bank statements from Cam’s father last month so we’ll see, but I hope for Auburn’s sake this story is fictitious.
