Arrest Report: This is the second arrest for Mr. Weatherman in the last three months… he was arrested back in April and suspended indefinitely for public intoxication for “attempting to entice a crowd of males into a physical altercation”.

And in this most recent arrest which occurred on July 2nd, it was Weatherman himself who was doing the fighting. We don’t have the details yet, but I’m guessing that alcohol also played a role in this.

After being fired in January Michigan have finally officially rid themselves of Rich Rodriguez for good. The Michigan Daily has discovered that on July 1st the former Michigan football head coach put his 2006 5,683 square foot five bedrooms and six bathrooms mansion up for sale.

The list of schools that have committed an NCAA violation in the last 12 months is getting as long as the list of people that have banged Paris Hilton. And the newest school to join the club is Nebraska, who has self reported a violation that stems from them giving athletes too many free books.

Now athletes already get their books paid for, but scholarships do not cover “professor-recommended books”… which Nebraska was paying for. In all the school gave away $28,000 in textbooks and other school supplies to athletes from 2007-10.

Arrest Report: Here goes our first arrest of the month… according to a police report, Jones here, a defensive tackle for the Fighting Illini, allegedly got into a fight with two bros, a 28-year-old man from Savoy and a 19-year-old man from Champaign… and from the sound of things, he whooped both of thems ass.

Neither had to be taken to the hospital but… the Savoy man got hit in the eye and had noticeable swelling on the right side of his face, while the Champaign man had a cut lip on the inside of his mouth.

All weekend people have been looking for fifth year senior Purdue running back Sean Matti after he disappeared at a friend’s house party Sunday night while swimming in a lake in West Lafayette, Indiana. Well the good news is that police have found him… the bad news, they found him dead. RIP dog.

There’s no doubt about… the University of Notre Dame, their coaching staff, and all their school officials are the reason that 21 year old videographer Declan Sullivan. Yet here we are a few months later and justice has still not been served. And its not just that that’s pissing me off… what’s pissing me of is that Notre Dame is actually fighting the charges.

It looks like Terrelle Pryor isn’t the only one receiving kickbacks from car dealerships… over in Iowa the school is investigating or “collecting details” as the school tells it about the types of free cars some coaches and employees drive.

In all at least 57 coaches, assistant coaches, spouses and athletics department employees ranging from fundraisers to the travel coordinator drive vehicles “donated” by car dealers…. and I’m just like if coaches are getting free cars how can they expect players not to.

That’s like Snoop Dogg telling his sons not to smoke weed.
