Alex Tanney Trick Pass Video

UConn QB Johnny McEntee has got some competition for the title of the best college football trick pass video of the year. Entering the discussion is Alex Tanney from DIII school Monmouth College, who was named the Midwest Conference’s player of the year last season after passing for nearly 4,000 yards and tossing 44 touchdowns.

So who’s video is better DI’s Johnny Mac’s or DIII’s Alex Tanney?

Karen Sypher Breaks Golddigger Rule #1

Karen Sypher is the dumbest groupie in the history of golddiggers. She gets pregnant after banging Rick Pitno for 15 seconds and instead of ending up getting millions of dollars in child support payments, she winds up getting sentenced to seven plus years in prison.

A lesson to all the groupie hoes out there: if some rich dude slips up and impregnates you don’t abort thinking that you’re going to get broke off with millions in hush money later on down the line…your leverage dies with the kid. If all you want to do is get paid just keep the kid and cash in on child support payments and interview fees.

Caroline Doty Dating Johnny McEntee?

Johnny McEntee aka Johnny Mac just might have become the most well known college football QB in the nation thanks to that badass trick pass video that dropped last week (the video has since went viral with over 4.5 million views in just nine days).

And now thanks to radio interview JMac did yesterday, we now know he was inspired to make his trick pass video by UConn Women’s basketball player Caroline Doty, who came out with a trick shot video a couple weeks before. One thing he failed to mention in the interview though was that he is probably most likely dating Doty. I mean would you take a trip to California to go to Disneyland with anybody else other than your boo?

Fun Fact: The Most Profitable Basketball Program

Right off the bat I know you’re thinking it has to be either Duke or Kentucky. But those guesses would be wrong…this school isn’t in the ACC or the SEC. Kansas or Syracuse maybe. No and no. The most profitable men’s basketball program in the country is actually Louisville’s. The Cardinals were ranked the 21st most profitable sports program in the country for the 2009-2010 school year (the first twenty on the list were all college football programs), finishing ahead of both USC’s and Oregon’s football programs.

And it’s not just the men’s basketball program thatis flouishing either. The Louisville women are drawing over 10,000 fans per game on average…that’s a higher average than all but seven of the SEC and ACC men’s basketball programs! via SportsMoney

Basketball Cliff Notes

Dunk of the Night: This is not as good as the dunks we had yesterday, but when you’re like me and can’t dunk any dunk is amazing. So here goes like only highlight of the year for MSU, Durrell Summers doing a Jumpman dunk, in last nights 75-57 win over Penn State.

St Johns Not Tournament Bound Yet: Here’s a good stat to remember for all you tournament bubble watchers out there…only one team since 1983 has made the tournament without finishing at least four games over .500 and that team was UGA in 2001. St Johns, even with there win over #10 UConn last night and three other top 10 teams, is 14-9 overall…which means they need to go at least 3-4 in their final seven games to make the tournament. The good news for the Jonnies is that the Big East tournament is played at Madison Square Garden, where they’ve beaten four top 10 teams this season.

Bubble Watch: Big East

We’re like a month away from Selection Sunday and March Madness, so we’re going to start a weekly feature were we take a look at which teams are in and which teams have more work to do if they plan on going dancing. And to kick things off we’re going to take a look at the best conference in the land aka the Big East, to try and figure out just how many teams they’re going to get in this years tournament. Is it 9, 10, 11…12?!

Georgetown coach John Thompson III says 12, but I disagree.
