The only disappointing thing about this weekends games was the fxcing weather delays… there was like four games that had were rained out for over an hour. But all was not lost… the West Virginia fans were able to find a fun way to pass to the time. [via]

West Virginia might start selling beer in their stadium this season, but it doesn’t come without concessions. In the good ol’s days if a student burned a couch it’d be classified as a violation of the misdemeanor malicious burning ordinance and they’d have to ay a measly $1000… but now police in Morgantown are saying starting this season they’re going to “take a more serious approach.”
Meaning they’re going to upgrade the offense to third and fourth-degree state arson, a conviction that could carry one to three year prison sentence. Fxck the police! [via]

This has to the most legendary sports picture, college or professional, ever taken! I wonder if he requested this before his death? The only thing that could have made this more legendary is if they would have buried him in a Tressel Ohio State vest.

This one is not as good as the VCU riot video that was shot after they lost to Butler in the semi’s, but it’ll do. Campus police say 12 people were arrested, two cars were flipped over (but apparently not his one), there were a couple dumpster fires, and one couch was burned…but other than that it was a pretty quiet night on the UConn campus.
