It’s a special day here at FratHouseSports. Today we have for you some pics from the July wedding of Florida volleyball player Alli Cecchini (who is a recent grad and honorary member of our hottest athletes of 2010 group) and Gator basketball player Alex Tyus.

Talk about a real life Beauty and the Beast. But at least now maybe if this post gets some love Tyus won’t be internationally known for looking like the Predator, but instead he’ll be that one Florida baller who married one of the girls on the FratHouseSports Hottest College Athletes in the Class of 2010 List. Florida Recruit In A Baby Momma Brawl

This story is so good that it needs no intro…we’ll just go into Florida WR recruit Ja’Juan Story’s explanation as to how he got arrested yesterday:

When I turned around, her and a woman and her two daughters was about to fight. So I came over because there was knives and I took a box cutter from my brother’s (girlfriend), but one of the other girls had two knives.

I tried to tell her to leave but she wasn’t listening. Someone said it looked like I hit the mom, but I didn’t. When I finally broke it up and got the girl to leave someone called the police. I was just trying to break everything up since no one else was.”

Let’s hope for his sake both the judge and the UF coaching staff sees things his way.

Arkansas Radio Host Fired For Wearing Florida Hat

UPDATE: Here is the video from the Arkansas news conference in question

This has to be illegal right here. A burly looking lady named Renee Gork got fired from a job at an Arkansas radio station yesterday all because she wore a Florida hat to an Arkansas Hogs news conference. Womp, womp, womp. She wrote on her Twitter account: “Was hoping to publicly apologize to coach Petrino and UA fans on the show today…but I won’t get that chance. I’ve been fired.” Now that’s just wrong in today economy.

Stoops And Meyer Back Saban

This is the week that college football coaches stood up against NFL. With Nick Saban leading the charge and Urban Meyer and Bob Stoops at his wings, they fired the first shots in what is sure to be a long battle to get the NFL and NFLPA to hold players and agents who break the rules accountable.

We’ve already heard what Saban had to say about the matter, he wants to penalize players who accept money in college in the NFL…and yesterday both Bob Stoops and Urban Meyer echoed his sentiments.

Me I totally agree with all of them. But I say why stop at players and agents? I feel there needs to be some kind of punishment for the coaches too, to stop guys like Pete Carroll from running to the NFL as soon as shit hits the fan to avoid bad press and sanctions.

Quotes from Bob Stoops and Urban Meyer below…

Nick Saban Talks With NFL About Agents

Nick Saban is on a mission to stop agents from preying on college football players. His latest act…organizing a conference call that included Roger Goodell, NFLPA officials, school AD’s and other college coaches (most notably Urban Meyer and Jim Tressel).

The main topic of discussion: what to do about the illegal activities going on between agents and college players. You can’t really stop it, so you’ve to work on increasing the punishment for those caught breaking the rules. And one of the possible penalties talked about was something that could impact a player’s career after reaching pro football.

That’s not such a bad idea. The school shouldn’t be the only one that has to pay for players and agents actions. Everyone involved should be punished in some way, shape, or form. Just imagine if the NFL could suspend Bush without pay for a few games for accepting money at USC and the agents suspended for 2 years. Now that’s justice.

Tim Tebow Used A Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber At Florida

UPDATE: The story is fake. Tim Tebow didn’t have one in college.

Now we know the reason Tim Tebow was so great in college…he had his very own hyperbaric oxygen chamber. While most of us college kids are out here scraping and scratching for cash, begging our parents every month for a $100 so we can buy an 8th of weed and a handle of Barcardi, Tim Tebow was living the baller life.

While a junior at UF he dropped $20,000 to buy one of these hyperbaric oxygen chambers so he could recover faster (and I’m not talking about recover from a night of drinking). I guess when you don’t have to pay for school you can do things like that. I wonder how long it’ll be before football programs start installing these in training rooms?
