I know a bunch of people out there are wondering what we were doing on our little “break” that we took from updating the site. Well while you were sitting there trying to forget we existed, we were busy building the Holy Grail of hot college athlete photo galleries.

We’ve got somewhere around 2000 photos of over 100 athletes, I think it’s safe to say we have the largest collection on the net. And we’re not even close to being done, we’re planning on adding another 200 athletes to the gallery this year. So bookmark the page (the link to our photo galleries is on the right) because we’ll be updating it as often as we can.

But in addition to our one big ass photo gallery, we’ve also broken things down and have the Top 10 Hottest Athletes of 2010 (and a 2009 bonus) for you below.

I don’t go on Twitter often, but when I do I always go to ex-USC Volleyball player Jessica Gysin’s page because she always post hot TwitPics of herself. But even I wasn’t prepared for what I saw this time. And it make me want to say Oh, oh, oh, oh. Ohh my gosh!

Jessica Gysin, one of the hottest college volleyball players of all-time side by side with ex-Cal volleyball player Morgan Beck, another one of the hottest college volleyball players of all-time…doing some mysteriously sexy all black everything photo shoot.

Alright this is the last college athlete that we’re going to post from the class of 2010 and she just might be our hottest. Might. You’ll have to wait until Monday when we’ll be posting our official Top 10 Hottest College Athletes from the Class of 2010 List to see who #1 is.

2009 College Beach Volleyball Champions USC’s Jessica Gysin & Alex Jupiter

Today we had a national champion crowned in our favorite sport here at the FratHouse, Beach Volleyball. The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), AVP, and CBS College Sports Network all teamed up to put on the College Beach Volleyball Championship as part of the AVP Santa Barbara Open this weekend.

In all 12 two player teams competed in this years championship that began with a round robin tournament used to determine seeding in a double-elimination round that ended in crowning of a new college beach volleyball national champion.

Even though “Sand Volleyball” isn’t scheduled to become an official NCAA sport until 2011-12, many schools are creating beach tournaments and fielding teams.

Over the weekend 24 collegiate women’s beach volleyball teams competed in 3 divisions at the USAV Beach Collegiate Challenge at Will Rogers Beach and for the 2nd year in a row USC won the team competition, this time tying with Pepperdine. While USC’s Geena Urango and Alex Jupiter won the individual championship, defeating Pepperdine’s Kiah Fiers and Caitlin Racich in the final (16-21, 21-16, 15-7).
