Police Report: Damn this is a shame… this kid is probably going to get kicked off the team for simply taking a piss in public. A police officer spotted Kerns in an alley early Saturday taking a leak and when the officer approached Kerns did not produce any identification when asked… and then as the officer was trying to cuff him Kerns struck the officer in the face and ran away only to be caught a short time later.

It is officially time to put the Big 12 back on death watch. With rumors running ramped that Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Texas are looking to take their talents elsewhere… the other schools that make up the Big 12 are now looking elsewhere as well. A report from the New York Post today claimed multiple sources have told them that if the Big 12 were to fall apart… the Big East would move to add Kansas, Kansas State and Missouri. 

That would mean the Big East would grow to 12 football schools and a whooping 20 in basketball, creating four five-team divisions in basketball and two divisions in football.

Why the Big East wants to expand below…

The more I watch Josh Selby, the more I like his game. He might wind up being the steal of this years draft (he was selected 49th by the Memphis Grizzles). Granted this was in a summer league game (video from the Melo League in Baltimore), but he did drop most of his 48 points in this game on Milwaukee Buck Brandon Jennings. Watch and enjoy.

We got to see a little of Josh Selby this past season at Kansas, but I didn’t know he had hops like that. He shatted all over that dude. But this is not the only dunk we’ve got for yall… below we’ve got another nice one from Washington recruit Tony Wroten Jr. that might be even nastier.

Here goes a little video of Jason Kidd talking about making his college decision… and wouldn’t you know most everyone thought that he was either going to attend Kentucky or Kansas, but ended up going to Cal because he bonding with them during a pickup game and really wanted to turn them into a contender. I think it was last week that Kansas football players Daymond Patterson and A.J. Steward took on the KU girls soccer team in a shootout… and now they’re back this week, this time taking on basketball players Thomas Robinson and Travis Releford in a game of K-A-N-S-A-S aka H-O-R-S-E. Enjoy. [via]
