While everybody is crying and calling foul play over the hit Alex Ovechkin put on Blackhawk defender Brian Campbell, which is going to sideline him for up to 8 weeks with a fractured clavicle and rib and cost Ovechkin 2 games…this hit North Dakota’s Matt Frattin put on Minnesota’s Kevin Wehrs was not to shabby wither (narly picture of hit).
For the hit Frattin got suspended for the teams next game on Thursday, the WCHA Final Five play-in against Minnesota-Duluth. But it’s not like the team hasn’t played without before, after 2 arrest last summer he was suspended for half of this season.
