The Players Ineligible For The Tar Heels

In all 12 players are either suspended or being held out of the big game versus the 21st ranked LSU tomorrow and of those six are defensive starters. And to make matters worst UNC is still waiting to establish the eligibility of three other defensive starters (senior linebacker Quan Sturdivant, senior linebacker Bruce Carter and senior safety Deunta Williams), which means 15 players could possibly be held out of the game and a whopping nine of their eleven defensive starters. Can you say, damnmnnnnn!

Les Miles Wins Asshole Of The Year Award

Now I know we post a lot of f-cked up shit on here, but this one ranks up there with the shittiest of shittiest. Last July Elliott Porter signed his letter of intent to play for LSU. Then yesterday Les Miles called him into his office after he’d already moved into the dorms, just two days before the first practice and told him he was cut. His scholarship gone. And it wasn’t because Porter did anything wrong…the blame is 110% on LSU.

Today’s cheerleader isn’t just a regular cheerleader, she is the best cheerleader in the country. Too bad she graduated this year so you won’t be seeing her on the sideline this season, but never fear because that’s why we’re here. If everybody plays nice and maybe likes this post we’ll be sure to post some more pics like the middle one below.

HolyShit Highlights: LSU CB Patrick Peterson

The LSU Tigers have one of the most feared defenses in the country just about every year and Patrick Peterson just might be the biggest killer they have. The third year cornerback is no doubt the leader of the defense. Going up against some of the best WR in the nation week in and week out Peterson more than holds his own against the Julio Jones’s and AJ Green’s of the world…making just of spectacular plays on the ball as they do.

Chad Jones Update: Expected To Recover

Here goes a quick update on ex-LSU football and baseball player Chad Jones. After eight hours of surgery yesterday Jones’ agent, Rocky Arceneaux, told a local paper that he is currently “in recovery“. And from the sound of it looks as though Jones is going to make it without having to get his leg amputated. Phew! We should have a state from either Jones or his agent later today telling us what led to the horrific car crash.

But as one of our readers pointed out on our intial story this is not the only tragedy to rock LSU Athletics this month. LSU soccer midfielder Kellie Murphy, her brother LSU student Brian Murphy and her sister Nicole Murphy were hit by a car last week while in South Africa for the World Cup…and sadly Nicole a medical student, I believe at LSU, was killed instantly. The family is trying to raise money to bring the kids home and for insurance cost, so if you can donate here is the link where you can find all the needed info.
