Alabama head coach Nick Saban and current Florida head coach Will Muschamp used to be boys. You see Muschamp was a defensive assistant under Saban at both LSU and with the Miami Dolphins, but while in Miami their relationship went south faster than a deported Mexican… and now we might now finally know the reason. According to the Palm Beach Post Muschamp’s father called Saban a “son of a biatch” after Saban was had been a dick to his mother.

And now we’ve got another speech to add to the list… this one here from Nick Saban, which was surprisingly given to a bunch of kids aged 8-14, and their parents at his football camp. [via]

In case you didn’t know Nick Saban has a kinda hot daughter named Kristen who goes to Alabama… and apparently she doesn’t think to highly of Mr. Cam Newton. During the ESPY’s the other day she went HAM on Twitter after seeing Cam get nominated for best male college athlete…

Awhile ago we showed you a pic of how scary Nick Saban’s statue is going to look. And now we have a video of how it was birthed, from the initial sketch to the finished project. It’s pretty cool…it kinda reminds you of that one scene from Ghost minus a hot Demi Moore. And FYI: the statue gets unveiled before the spring A-Day game on April 16.

It’s like leaked picture week in the SEC or something. Yesterday a pic surfaced of the new Ole Miss mascot…well not of the actual of the mascot, but of the Rebel Black Bear costume that girl too ugly to be a real Ole Miss cheerleader will be wearing.

And now today TideSports comes up with this pic of the face on Nick Saban’s new statue that willgoing up alongside statues of ‘Bama greats Bear Bryant, Wallace Wade, Frank Thomas and Gene Stallings before the annual A-Day spring game on April 17.

You ever wonder what it’s like being the #1 football recruit in America on a recruiting trip to a big time DI school? Well it’s kinda like it was in that movie He Got Game…you’re going to get a lot of groupie love. And just to make all of us jealous, FoxSports got an all-access interview with Jedeveon Clowney where he wasn’t shy about talking about how much attention he was getting from the girls at Clemson, Alabama, and South Carolina.

South Carolina Girls: “It’s wild in college… Girls be all on you. They love football players up there. I was smiling and laughing about everything.”

Clemson Girls: “All the girls came up to me,” he said. “They would do anything just to get me down there. I was laughing, but I didn’t really mess with anybody.”

Alabama Girls: “They were all over us… We were new faces, I guess. They was lovin’ us. We just had a ball that night.” Clowney stayed out until 2:30 a.m.

“I guess I must stutter. Did I stutter? I’m not very clear on how I articulate. Maybe I need to go back to West Virginia and get some more hillbilly slang and maybe everybody can understand me a little better.”

Today Gary Wichard, the NFL agent at the center of the UNC Football investigation, spoke to the investigators from the NC Secretary of State’s office for about two hours. I wonder what they talked about? I’m going to take a wild guess here and say ex-UNC assistant coach John Blake…somebody Nick Saban sure as hell didn’t want to talk about yesterday.

When a reporter asked if he considered Blake a “pimp” for trying to get one of his players (DE Marcell Dareus) to sign with Wichard this summer, he called it called it “water under the bridge…somewhere down in the Gulf of Mexico now” and declined to comment on the John Blake matter at all because it wasn’t important to him. And then when a reporter pressed him on it he unleashed the above West Virginia hillbilly slang line. Classic!
