I don’t see now this isn’t a violation or something. This offseason UCLA hired Korey McCray, who had been the coach of the AAU team the Atlanta Celtics for years, as their new assistant coach… and now just a couple months later the new hire is already paying off.

Small forward Jordan Adams, a top 100 player from the Class of 2012, who wasn’t even on the Bruins radar announced Monday that he would be following his coach to Westwood. And thats nothing… the Bruins are also expected to sign the #13 prospect in country Shaquille Goodwin, who also plays for the Atlanta Celtics during the summer.

The problem with the deal below….

You’ve got to give it to Oregon… they’re not going to go down without a fight. A day after the university released documents suggesting that Chip Kelly paid recruiting service manager Will Lyles $25,000 for outdated information on recruits who’d already graduated… Oregon has now released two email, which they hope will deter any NCAA investigation.

Most people with over $8,000 in parking fines wouldn’t be speeding down the street at 4am doing 118 mph in a “rental car” that wasn’t registered to you. But then Oregon football Cliff Harris isn’t most people.

Since 2008, he’s racked up a total of 11 fines in California and Oregon totaling a whopping $8,527.50… and he hasn’t paid a single dime on any of them. And to make matters even worst, the “rental car” belonged to some girl that is currently employed by the university.

So just who is this chick and what is her relationship to the the Oregon’s football players.

Everybody wants to whine about the BCS commissioners making all this money, but conference commissioners are the ones who are really raking in the dough. All of them are clocking around $1 mil a year.

Thanks to tax returns we now know… Big Ten commissioner Jim Delany is the highest paid, receiving $1.6 million a year, followed by ACC commissioner John Swofford ($1.1 million), SEC’s Mike Slive ($1 million) and Big 12 commissioner Dan Beebe ($997,000).

Oregon might have dumbest coaching staff in America. How else can you explain how they shelled out $25,000 to Will Lyles’ Complete Scouting Services for the 2011 “National Package” without it containing information on any 2011 recruits. That’s right… in the documents released released it showed that they gave 25G’s for the “2010 National High School Evaluation Booklet” which highlighted 140 recruits, almost all of whom graduated in 2009.

Looks like it is true what everyone expects… Oregon’s coaching staff paid Lyles to help steer five-star Texas running back Lache Seastrunk and possibly LaMichael James, both of whom are close with Lyles.
