Texas A&M is done with all their crying and threatening to move to the SEC…. and now they’re looking like they might actually do it. And kicking off all the Texas A&M to the SEC rumors was none other than Texas governor Rick Perry who told the The Dallas Morning News that “as far as I know, conversations (between A&M and the SEC) are being had“.
Then A&M president R. Bowen Loftin all but confirmed the rumors by saying via a university press release that he was “committed to doing what is best for Texas A&M not only now, but also in the future“. Hmmmm. Which led Big 12 commissioner Dan Beebe to say he’s taking reports of A&M-SEC talks “very seriously.”
So as you see a whole lot of people are talking and they’re all saying the same thing… Texas A&M is on their way to the SEC. Yeah it’s going to be a long weekend.

It seems like every one in the SEC is in upgrade mode… and next up on the list of schools trying to make a splash with recruits by getting some shinny new digs is Ole’ Miss. It was announced today that the school is looking for boosters to give them $150 million so they can use $100 million to build themselves a brand spanking on-campus basketball arena and the other $50 million to renovate the football stadium.
Last Wednesday night marked the first time Auburn practiced on their brand new $16 million state of the art facility, which includes both indoor and outdoor fields. And as you can see from the beautiful picture of the field above it was almost a spiritual moment… and there’s nothing CGI or fake about that picture folks, that’s just a damn good photography job. Oregon paid Will Lyles $25,000 for ’2011 National Package’, which contained no 2011 recruits. LSU gave him $6000 for a California and Kansas JUCO package, which contained outdated information. And now we finally have the details of what was in the ’2010 National National Package’ that Will Lyles provided Cal Berkley for $5000… and you guessed it, it also contained some suspect tapes and info.
Details of the package Cal received below…
Damn it’s a sad day…. Swiperboy aka Tennessee basketball player Renaldo Woolridge is retiring from the rap game (who does he think he is Jay-Z or somebody). But the good news is that he’ll be coming out with one more mixtape before he hangs up the mic and you can best believe we’re going to post it when it drops. [via]
Tune in below for some of Swiperboys best songs

In what has to be the only good news that has been written about JaMacus Russell since he left LSU… word is that the number two biggest bust in the NFL Draft history is going to be going back to school at LSU starting this Fall.
Finally he’s putting those $31.5 million he stole from the Raiders to use… I bet you his mama’s proud. [via]
