The Big Sky Conference Makes Some Moves

Either The Big Sky Conference was moving like as silent as ninja or nobody cared enough to pay attention (I suspect the latter) because this came out of left field…they are adding both North Dakota and Southern Utah for the 2012-13 season and are “on the verge” of announcing the addition of South Dakota. Now if I could just remember where North and South Dakota are on the map, I’d be alright. But anyways…
..add those three teams to the nine they already have: Eastern Washington, Idaho State, Montana, Montana State, Northern Arizona, Northern Colorado, Portland State, Sacramento State, and Weber State…and the Big Sky becomes one of the better conferences on the West Coast. And I’ve yet to mention that they’re also adding Cal Poly and UC Davis as football only schools, taking the conference to 14 members.
