LSU is getting their own brand of beer. Kentucky basketball coach John Calipari has his own special bottle of Makers Mark. So I guess its only right that South Carolina head football coach Steve Spurrier is allowed to have his own wine, “Gamecock Garnet”.

Now we know where South Carolina QB Stephen Garcia gets his drinking problem from… word is South Carolina quarterbacks coach GA Mangus was arrested early this morning in Greenville, South Carolina for “nuisance conduct” aka being wasted in public.
Here goes an eye witness account of what happened: “multiple SC coaches were walking back to hotel in downtown Greenville after socializing with HS coaches in town for event. Mangus stumbled in some fashion, attracting attention of a police officer. In response to the officer’s query, Mangus made a belligerent response verbally and was taken into custody.” [via]

But no lie… we weren’t even going to post anything about it, but we had to acknowledge this kid Scott Wingo for breaking out the championship belt in the post celebration festivities. Legendary! Charges: intoxicated and disruptive in public and resisting a public officer (Davis), disorderly conduct and resisting a public officer (Bowman)
Arrest Report: According to Greenville police defensive back Emanuel Davis and wide receiver Michael Bowman were kicked out of the Other Place nightclub in Greenville. Officers say the two were yelling and cursing in the street. Officers say they asked the pair to leave several times, but they refused. That’s when Davis and Bowman were arrested.
