We’re going to combine the new soccer rankings with our stud muffin post today so I can talk about Cal player Alex Morgan, who might just be the best player in the nation. I know Christen Press of Stanford has been getting all the love, but right behind Press, the nations leader in points and goals per game, is Morgan who is in second in both categories.
And while it may be debatable which of the two is the better college soccer player, on the international soccer scene Alex is queen. She’s a member of the women’s senior national team, she’s worshipped in Chile like she’s an A-List actress, has scored one of the greatest goals in women’s soccer history and is most importantly of all she’s hotter.
