The BCS: Deserve Ain’t Got Nothing To Do About It

Forget all this talk about how unfair the BCS is because Boise State, TCU, and all the other non-automatic qualifying schools get screwed…that’s not what makes the BCS a bunch of bullshit. The biggest travesty of all is what is happening with the Big East conference.

Right now the Big East currently has no teams ranked in the top 25 and haven’t one since week four! And what’s worst is no one in the conference is even bowl eligible. Not a single team. Yet they have an auto-bid into the BCS game and get over $100 million?! It’s not fair!

This is not a conference that deserves to get just as much money from the BCS as the SEC, who has seven teams in this weeks BCS poll, and the opportunity to play in the Fiesta Bowl? I tell you it’s a absolute travesty that they’d get to over to a BCS bowl over undefeated TCU or Boise State team…or even a one loss Utah.

But that’s what going to happen and there is nothing we can do about. I guess it’s true what Snoop said on The Wire right before she got killed, “Deserve ain’t got nothing to do about it“.
