College Football Team Suspended For The 2010-11 Season For Doping
This story comes to us from our neighbors to the north, Canada…where The University of Waterloo football team have been suspended for the entire 2010-11 season for steroids. The ban was handed down by the Canadian Interuniversity Sport, which I guess is like their NCAA, after nine of the teams 62 players tested positive for some type of banned substance during a mass test by Waterloo where over 80 blood and urine samples were taken.
Could you imagine this going down at one of our colleges? I bet you if a school were to drug test the entire team during the summer at least five players on every team (with the exception of Utah) would test positive.
