Wayne Gretzky’s Son Ditches College For MLB

Looks like Nebraska’s Bubba Starling wasn’t the only recruit who ditched college and signed with an MLB team right before last nights 12am deadline for teams to sign their 2011 draft picks. Also making moves in the 23rd hour was Trevor Gretzky, the son of NHL great Wayne Gretzky, who had committed to attend San Diego State this Fall… but instead signed with the Cubs, who drafted him the the 7th round of the draft.
