UNC Tarheel Football Violations Involve Bentley’s & Trips To South Beach

There is a growing rumor that the investigation into the UNC football team is massive and could turn up from major violations that would make USC’s look like childs play.
ESPN.com’s Joe Schad was the first to break news yesterday on the NCAA’s investigation into the UNC football program regarding gifts and cash received by players from sports agents, but he didn’t have many details. Fast forward to today where other reporters are revealing the massive scope of investigation and extent of the violations.
SI.com’s Stewart Mandel tweets: The UNC/agent situation sounding very serious. I’m told NCAA has spent months compiling evidence
Darren Haitner writes via his SportsAgentBlog: “I have a source who tells me that Austin was only 1 of 13 players who have been interviewed…It is apparently beyond just in-person meetings, rent payments, and travel expenses. We are potentially talking about all expenses paid trips to South Beach, exorbitant amounts of money dropped on accessories, and there are rumors of players driving around in Bentleys“.
Must be nice. But however bad the violations might be it is nothing fans will have to worry about this season or even the next knowing how long it takes the NCAA to investigate stuff. What it look them all of like four years to finally sanction USC?
