Why Jimmer Fredette Sucks

Last night Jimmer Fredette was exposed for what he truly, a slow white average shooter. Sure he finished with 32 points, but it was an Allen Iverson 32 where he dribbled the ball an insane amount and shot three times more than everybody on his team…finishing 11-29 from the field, 3-15 from 3-point range with 2 rebounds, 5 assist, and 6 turnovers.
And while those numbers are nowhere near the ones he’s being putting up this season, it is exactly the kind of numbers that he is going to be putting up in the NBA. But forget about the points and offense for a second because where Jimmer really struggled last night was on defense. Whether it was Kenny Boynton or Erving Walker, Florida’s guards were driving around him like he had cement in his shoes.
You see Jimmer has been chilling in the MWC all year were the competition is subpar at best. It is only during the tournament that we get to see him against guys who are close to the level of the athlete he’s going to see in the NBA next year.
And just as JJ Reddick, Jason Kappono, Dan Majerle, and any other white shooter that has come before him has struggled staying in front of people on defense, so will Jimmer. It’s not going to be his shooting that holds him back, it’s going to be his defense and because of his slow ass feet he’ll never average over 10-15 minutes a game in his NBA career.
I’m sure scouts saw exactly the same thing I did during last nights game…Erving Walker driving by him over and over again and kicking it out to shooters on the wing for wide open threes. And if he can’t stay in front of someone like Walker what makes anybody think he can stay in front of a Derrick Rose, Russel Westbrook, Tony Parker, Chris Paul, or any of the other quick guards in the league?

I honestly have not seen a more racist piece of “journalism” than this…
I agree with Larry, also please learn how to speak english, and also spell. Thanks!
Racist garbage. Jimmer was not player of the year because he “sucks,” but because he is a prolific scorer.
